At Mind Care Alberta, we understand that people are shaped by experiences and not defined by them.

Many clients come to us during periods of:

  • Emotional overwhelm

  • Trauma exposure

  • Relationship breakdown

  • Legal or court involvement

  • Cultural adjustment

  • Identity disruption

Our philosophy is simple, "People do not need fixing."

They need structured support, emotional safety, and tools that translate into real-life change.

We approach each case with clinical integrity, cultural awareness, and practical direction.

Our Philosophy

At Mind Care Alberta, therapy is approached with care, professionalism, and respect for each person’s story.

The focus is not only on understanding challenges, but also on helping individuals develop the skills and confidence needed to create meaningful change in their lives.

Clients are welcomed into a supportive environment where healing, reflection, and personal growth can unfold at a comfortable pace.

Our Approach

Therapeutic Methods & Modalities

We integrate multiple evidence-based models depending on client needs:

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) for trauma resolution

  • DBR (Deep Brain Reorienting) for processing deep shock and attachment trauma rooted in early or overwhelming experiences.

  • CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) for restructuring unhelpful thought patterns

  • DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy) for emotional regulation and distress tolerance

  • Tree of Life Narrative Therapy for identity rebuilding and resilience

Structured forensic frameworks for mandated and court-related work
